Privacy

The short version: we hold the minimum needed to run a dating app, we do not buy or scrape data about you, and you can delete all of it yourself in one click.

What we store

• Your account — email address and a hashed password.
• Your profile — name, date of birth, gender, who you want to meet, bio, interests, city, photos.
• Your activity — who you liked or passed on, your conversations, anyone you blocked or reported.

We do not ask for or store government ID, phone numbers, precise location, or payment details.

What other members can see

Your name, age, city, bio, interests, photos, and your HotMess score. Your email address, date of birth, and who you swiped on are never shown to anyone. Nobody can see who liked them.

The HotMess score

Your score is calculated from the profile fields listed above and nothing else. There is no external data source, no scraping, no public records search, and no third-party data broker. The full formula is published on our home page and every member can see their own line-by-line breakdown.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete account removes your profile, photos, conversations, and login immediately. There is no grace period and no archived copy. Messages you sent are deleted from the recipient's view too.

Who we share with

Our hosting and database provider (Supabase) and our application host (Vercel), because the app runs on their infrastructure. We do not sell data or share it for advertising.
